As the calendar flips to September we are days away from Nationals. It’s time to pack your bags, wipe off your putters and talk details!
First off, both the courses we are using are private courses and the Hillcrest course would like all players to have a signed waiver form submitted before they play their first round. The waiver form can be found here at the bottom of this update. Please print and sign them and then submit them when you arrive at the course. Physical copies will be made available at the players meeting as well for those who can’t print one off.
Next up is the players banquet at Lord’s Seaside Cottages, tinyurl.com/PlayersBanquet We are going full ‘cookout style’ and bbq’ing burgers (veggies or meat) and/or sausage and salad for all players. We will have 6 (or more)barbeques going and food will be served between 6-7pm following by some thank you’s, the awards for the Flex Start C-Tiers, a few ring of fires, a washer toss tournament, and some raffle draws. We will have a parking attendant on site and players are asked to carpool if possible. You will want to bring a warm sweater, a putter, a chair (if needed) and additional drinks or snacks you may want to consume during the evening. In the event of really crappy weather the banquet will be cancelled (boooo) and we will feed all the players on Sunday either before or after their round.

Both courses will be open for general practice on days and times when we do not have other events going on. Green fees at each course are $10/course per day.
We can always use more volunteers to spot on some of the more technical holes. No experience is required and there are some goodies in store for anyone who puts in 15 hours of volunteer time during the week. We also could use some volunteers for the UDisc scoring and as photographers and assistants at Hillcrest.
